Free PDF anyone?

There are many commercial PDF products emerging in the market. Do you have to shell out $100+ to create a PDF file you can be proud of? I don't think so, not unless you really need all the hardcore features. For most of your eBook purposes, there are plently of PDF compilers that will do the job for you for free.

Building Opt-In Lists - A Handy Trick

Its a fact that Opt-In lists can become the best marketing tool you've ever wanted. Imagine selling great amount of a new product of yours, in just less than 48 hours. How does it happen? Is it possible to make a new product of yours bring you money within a short period of time, without spend time on advertising? Ofcourse, by advertising your new products to the members signed up for your Opt-In list. But how do you make them sign up in the first place?

You can make free products like eBooks and Software to give away, but first requiring the user to enter his Name and eMail so that you can send the necessary information to him. It's of no doubt that your product might be very valuable, but people would just not value it as you're offering it for free.

Generally, even for such free products, you need to have a salesletter, which is close to 25% of the size of a normal salesletter used to sell products. This salesletter too should have a stunning title, a stunning headline and details about product features. You then offer your customer to gain instant access to it by just entering his Name and eMail and agreeing to subscribe to your newsletter.

This is where comes a catch. Can you make it more appealing? Ofcourse! Its just simple, but very appealing. You can see the difference yourself. So what do you have to do?

In your salesletter, say that your product costs some amount. You can decide it by keeping in mind what product you're selling. Then tell the user that, he can also get this very product for free if he signs up to your newsletter.

In the end, include an option for paying as well as signing up. Place the option for paying above the option for signing up. And make sure that when trying to buy the product through your Buy Link, you actually can. Don't include a fake link. The user should think that your product was really for sale, but you're still giving it away. All the user needs to do is sign up.

So what do you think the user decides? Would he ever pay for something which he can obtain for free?

Why are Opt-In lists so important?

Testimonials, heard of them? They appear in the salesletter of most of the product on the market. "I made $12,000 selling", "I made $25,000 selling" etc. are the typical stories you will hear. Maybe they sold a product offered, or their own stuffs using the product advertised. How do they do it? From the word Business, comes the word Reputation. Reputed people make more money, because more people believe them.

When you struggle to enter the market, your first objective is customer relationship. You HAVE TO provide excellent support to your products. You have to offer something for free to the visitors of your site, for their time. You offer them products through eMail. So what do you have? Their eMail!

The visitors agree to give their eMail and accept any offers or products you give them through it. After you've finished a brand new product, don't go and start trying to advertise your site elsewhere. Announce your products to the people who have already downloaded/bought from you. They already know the quality of the products you deliver. They'll be one of the first to buy your products, and they help you spread the name!

With each product you sell, try and build more and more relationship. People are ready to hear from you, and what you have for them. Don't disappoint them!

Google Ranking Anyone?

Its always good to look at our own new site showing up in the top 10 when we type in relevant keywords into the search engine. For many, this dream is a dream. Its necessary for your website to be search engine optimized.

Once recommendation i can give is to send requests to other popular websites that you want to exchange links with them. Before sending them a message, put a link to them on your website first and tell them where you've done so. It gives you a higher chances of getting a link back from them.

If the website you've linked to is popular, not only will you get more traffic from there, but also you have a greater chance of your site to be indexed by search engine soon. But if you're really serious about search engine rankings and optimization, it would be a shame if you missed this.

Website or Crapsite?

Creating websites has become a trend for everyone. But just creating a website isn't enough. I have seen many websites that have sloppy color schemes, and unnecessary graphics. It so happens that, a website takes ages to load, and i find nothing but bloated graphics in it.

There are points to consider before starting the creation of a website,
  1. Decide a color scheme : A color scheme is very important. The colors of all the elements of your website should blend in with the color scheme. Usually, websites with shades of light blue or gray look sleek and professional. Make sure no other element just doesn't blend as you've used a dark red color for it while the rest are light blue.
  2. Don't overdo the navigation : Navigation should be simple. Don't overdo it by adding stylish animated graphics when not necessary.
  3. Don't use excess graphics : Its really nice to have a good header, a good cover art, but don't junk your website with graphics. It makes it longer to load and you would just be losing many impatient visitors per day.
  4. Decide the contents : Its better to decide the contents beforehand and even write some of them before you publish your website. When you publish your website, the content is available to everyone. Its better than publishing your website first and wondering what to do next.
If you are an internet marketer and looking for a web designing tool which would clearly serve your purpose, then i would recommend Xsite Pro
